This was supposed to be a link to Allie Brosh’s blog “Hyperbole and a Half,” and more specifically a post which is guide to understanding basic concepts for her dogs.  Unfortunately, that guide is not on her blog site and only lives in her book, “Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, flawed coping mechanisms, mayhem, an other things that happened.”  It is a drawing on page 296 entitled ‘dog science,’  which describes her dogs’ concept of the scientific method as doing something (no matter how godawfully annoying) repeatedly until it works.  If you have that book go look at it now and you’ll see what I’m talking about.  If you don’t have that book, you really should get it because it’s great.  It’s only flaw is that it isn’t 100% about her dogs, but even the non-dog parts are hysterical.

I suppose I could have taken a picture of the page in question and posted it, but Simon and Schuster’s legal department is MUCH better funded than mine.
