Cancer/Tripawd Advice

Recently I was messaging with a friend of a friend whose cat is due to have a back leg amputated because of a tumor.  She was worried about how he would do afterwards.  I think I reassured her that they get along fine once they’re recovered; for example I found Morph (still full of stitches) at the top of my 8 foot cat tree about two days after he came home!

But my experience is only one example of what can happen, and I’m sure other people have learned things about three leggers and cancer survivors that I haven’t.  So I’d like to ask any readers who’d like to to chime in with anything you’d care to share about your experiences which I will pass along.

Every comment will get a reply with a new picture of Morph being his obnoxious, three-legged self!

The indoor stick had languished in the toy basket for months with nary a sniff. Then a few weeks ago they got interested in it again.  Now apparently it’s of no further indoor use.

Graham’s Story: The New Toy

A few years back, when Hershey was the only dog, we discovered an exciting new toy.  One day at one of the dog parks we went to there was suddenly a commotion at the fence, and Hershey was right in the middle of it.  While often “commotion at the dog park” is a synonym for “unexpected trip to the vet” it was not the case that day.

Caturday: The Cattery Pt 2

Read Part One here!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! That’s me laughing at the naive and foolishness of my Past Self. He thought he could build, stain, and cover a structure the size of Imelda Marcos’ closet (her handkerchief closet, but still) in 48 hours!

Having chosen the “wing it” method of construction I found myself discovering on the fly things I would need to get the job done, or even started.  To save you the hassle of discovering all this on your own let me give you a run down of the things you will need.

To build a cattery you will need:
