Eris has been favoring this grooming arch lately. Not as a way to relieve herself of excess fur (why would a cat use something bought for them for it’s intended purpose?!) but to sit and watch the household go by. I think it must satisfy her predatory need to be close to action, but “concealed.”
There have been countless cat in boxes videos on the internet (sometimes I wonder if the whole thing in run by cats) including this one showing that it isn’t just house cats that dig them:
But Eris favoring the arch seems to better resemble the cats trapped in a circle as described in this article by the Daily Mail.
Anyway, cute picture, fun video; happy Caturday everyone!
Marsha does serious and silly with equal ease.
I’m up earlier than I like, but still well rested, catching up on some household chores (the madness strikes sometimes!)
Several times now Hershey has come out and looked worried. She doesn’t want to go out but she does lead me back to bed! The last time, I just tucked her in and went about my business.
Anyone else’s fur masters become concerned when there’s a change in routine?
