The dreaded cones of shame! I hate them almost as much as my dogs do. When they must wear these hats, they batter my legs with the edges. And that hurts!
Yes! Exactly this! Every time she comes inside Hershey kneecaps me with her cone! Every. Single. Time. Her nickname when she’s in the CoS is “Blunderbuss.”
Oh dear. Sad faces all around.
My moms dog Quincey uses his cone as a weapon and thrashes and hits you purposely. He gets pissy when he wears it so I guess his motto is “misery loves company”? Lol
Hershey is an old hand an wearing them, as her taped up cone will attest. For about a day after I got Marsha back from the emergency vet (yes, it was THAT bad) she didn’t seem to know where her body was! She’s adapted pretty well though.
Ouch, double cone of shame! Must have been a doozy.
